Local CDL Truck Driver - Refrigerated

No SAP drivers

New hire drivers pay and training time -$100 per day 2 day ride along 
  • Minimum weekly gross pay is $1350 as long as 5 scheduled days are worked
  • Drivers work weekends and nights
  • Start time will either be 11 a.m. or Noon depending on availability 
  • 2 full non-weekend days off.  All new drivers should expect to work weekends
  • Runs will include nights, weekends, and holidays that fall within your workweek. The week before a holiday is also mandatory 
  • Drivers are home daily with 2 days off during the week
  • Slipseat operation with newer model day cab trucks
  • This account delivers dry and refrigerated groceries to a dedicated customer stores in OH, IN and KY (Mainly OH) 
  • Dry van trailers utilized, 80% drop and hook and 20% unloaded from trailer into back room of stores using electric pallet jacks. (Single stop loads are drop and hook / Multi stop loads are partial unloads where the stops are off loaded by the driver and the last stop of the load is Drop and Hook)
    • Woodlawn will operate seven days a week, mainly during the afternoon-evening hours, and drivers start times are assigned and vary
    • Drivers are required to shift between site locations from time to time to haul either reefer or dry van freight
  • Drivers average 3 – 5 loads per day with an average of 5 – 7 stops and around 200 – 300 miles a day.
    • Drivers are averaging 1000 – 1500 Miles per week.

Minimum Requirements:
  • Valid Class A CDL
  • Minimum of 3 months experience in the last 36 months. The 3 months experience must be with no more than two carriers, and driver can have no preventable CMV accidents during the 3 months
  •  Local experience counts as long as it is TT 40 ft or greater!
  • Truck driving school/training doesn’t count as experience. A driver has to have a full 3 months with one carrier to qualify as a first seat driver
