Drivers will complete up to 4 weeks of paid training depending on how much car hauling experience the driver already has
**All drivers must know how to drive manual NON CMV vehicles to load trailer. Inability to demonstrate on the job could disqualify driver** Cargo:Delivery Type:- Routes will be both single and multi-stop consisting of between 5 to 9 cars per trailer
- Driver load/unload - car haulers
States Served:Backhauls:- Yes - Trucks should be loaded with automobiles both ways
Equipment:- International, Freightliners, Western Stars, Peterbilt Stingers
- A few manuals but mostly automatics
- Cottrell Trailer
- 50% of trucks have APU's
Compensation:- From $115,000.00 per year; $2200+ a week
- Paid $30 an hour; over time after 40 hours at $45/hour
- Stinger drivers only: $130 layover pay if they are out 2 weeks and reset on the road
- .50 raise each anniversary date until maxed at $32.50
Home Time:- Drivers are out 2 weeks, home 3 days
Training Involved:- Orientation/Training is 2 weeks for experienced car haulers for non experienced car haulers training is 4 weeks (2 weeks on yard training, 2 weeks on the road with a trainer/mentor)
- Normal hourly pay during orientation and training
Orientation Location:Minimum Requirements:- Must have a valid Class A CDL
- 2 years of recent Class A tractor trailer experience hauling a trailer that is at least 45' long OR 1 year of semi-truck car hauling
- No more than 3 jobs total (including non driving jobs) in the last 3 years
- No Felony theft ever
- No sex crimes
- Must be able to operate a manual transmission due to loading and unloading all different types of vehicles
