TransForce is seeking a CDL A Driver to support local operations based in Henderson, CO.

Local CDL A Driver Job Details:

•    Schedule: Monday-Friday, 7:00AM - 5:00PM, 1st Shift
•    Pay: $30 per hour (about $1500 per week)
•    Route Type: Local
•    Freight / Load Type: CDL A Truck Drivers will be handling local truckload deliveries, primarily drop & hook, no touch freight. They will be picking up trailers at a customer facility and delivering them to the plant daily, as well as delivering trailers with repaired pallets to the customers facilities.
•    Equipment: Dry Van 53 Feet
•    Handling: Light Touch

Local CDL A Driver Job Minimum Requirements: 

•    License: CDL A 
•    Experience: 1+ years of recent, relevant, and verifiable driving experience
•    Endorsements: None
•    Equipment Experience: Dry van 53 feet
•    Clean Motor Vehicle Record (no major traffic violations or preventable accidents in last 3 years)
•    Must meet all DOT and FMCSA requirements

Local CDL A Driver Job Responsibilities:

•    Safely operate dry van 53 feet on local routes
•    Transport tractor-trailers containing wooden pallets within certain miles in accordance with DOT and company safety standards
•    Perform required handling tasks including handling local truckload deliveries, primarily drop & hook, no touch freight. They will be picking up trailers at a customer facility and delivering them to the plant daily, as well as delivering trailers with repaired pallets to the customers facilities.
•    Complete pre-trip and post-trip inspections
•    Maintain accurate logs and paperwork
•    Communicate effectively with dispatch and operations
•    Meet the physical demands of the role, including occasionally lifting up to 50-75 pounds and adjusting body position to bend, stoop, walk, turn, pivot and stand for entire shift of varying lengths in time
