Local CDL A Port Driver - Night Shift - $32 Per Hour

TransForce is seeking a CDL A Port driver to support local operations based in Carson, CA. 

CDL A Details 

• Schedule: Monday - Friday, 4:30pm Start, up to 14 hours per day

• Pay:  $32 Per Hour, straight time

• Route Type: Local deliveries to Perris, Redlands, and Moreno Valley

• Freight / Load Type: General freight

• Equipment: Day Cab, Automatic transmissions

• Handling: No touch freight, drop and hook

CDL A Minimum Requirements:  

• License: CDL A

• Experience: 2+ years of recent, relevant, and verifiable driving experience 

• Endorsements: TWIC Card

• Equipment Experience: 2+ years of verifiable CDL A experience in the ports of LA/LB

• Clean Motor Vehicle Record (no major traffic violations or preventable accidents in last 3 years) 

• Must meet all DOT and FMCSA requirements 

CDL A Responsibilities:  

• Safely operate CDL A equipment on local routes 

• Transport general freight in accordance with DOT and company safety standards 

• Perform required handling tasks 

• Complete pre-trip and post-trip inspections 

• Maintain accurate logs and paperwork 

• Communicate effectively with dispatch and operations 

• Meet the physical demands of the role, including [lifting, climbing, strapping, tarping, etc., if applicable]
