CDL A Driver | $27 Per Hour | Gettysburg, PA

TransForce is seeking a CDL A Driver to support local operations based in Gettysburg, PA. This is a temp to hire position. 

CDL A Driver Details 

• Schedule: Monday - Saturday operation, driver will work 5 days; 12 AM - 300 AM start time.

• Pay:  $27.00 Per Hour, Plus OT

• Route Type: Local

• Freight / Load Type: Food 

• Equipment: Automatic trucks
• Handling: Light touch - unloading with pallet jack or wheeling carts off the trailer

• License: CDL A 

• Experience: 2+ years of recent, relevant, and verifiable driving experience 
• Clean Motor Vehicle Record (no major traffic violations or preventable accidents in last 3 years) 
• Must meet all DOT and FMCSA requirements 

• Safely operate class A vehicles on local routes 

• Transport freight in accordance with DOT and company safety standards 

• Perform required handling tasks including offloading with pallet jack.

• Complete pre-trip and post-trip inspections 

• Maintain accurate logs and paperwork 

• Communicate effectively with dispatch and operations
