CDL B Route Driver Details
- Schedule: Mon - Fri, 5.30am - 2pm, home daily
- Pay: $23.50/hr plus OT after 40
- Route Type: Local, 8 - 15 stops per day depending route for the day.
- Freight / Load Type: Paper products and cleaning products
- Handling: Heavy Touch / Pallet Jack & Hand carts
CDL B Route Driver Minimum Requirements:
- License: CDL B
- Experience: 2+ years of recent, relevant, and verifiable driving experience
- Clean Motor Vehicle Record (no major traffic violations or preventable accidents in last 3 years)
- Must meet all DOT and FMCSA requirements
CDL B Route Driver Responsibilities:
- Safely operate equipment on local routes
- Transport paper and cleaning products in accordance with DOT and company safety standards
- Perform required handling tasks using pallet jack and hand carts
- Complete pre-trip and post-trip inspections
- Maintain accurate logs and paperwork
- Communicate effectively with dispatch and operations
- Meet the physical demands of the role
