OTR CAR HAULER - Must have 1 year of car hauling experience!

Delta Automotive Services is looking for experienced 9 car auto haulers for over the road positions. Drivers operate State of the Art Fleet with New Peterbilt Trucks being added continuously.

Car haulers safely and professionally transport cars to and from customer locations.

  • Communicate effectively and respectfully with all Delta customers and team members. 
  • Operate all Delta equipment according to established Delta procedures, DOT and FMCSA rules, regulations and policies
  • Follow all safety procedures and maintain all required driver e-logs
  • Take all precautions, including pre-inspection of vehicles before loading, to ensure zero damages to all transported vehicles
  • Maintain Delta equipment and ensure zero damages/accidents
  • Load and secure cars on trailers and transport in a safe, efficient, and timely manner
  • Maintain a clean driving record, Class A CDL, DOT Medical Card, and TWIC Card
  • Perform tasks independently with minimal supervision


  • Knowledge of FMCSA and DOT regulations
  • Excellent customer service, resolution and communication skills
  • Basic computer knowledge
  • Able to read and write sufficiently to understand highway traffic signs, to report to officials and to make entries on reports and records
  • Valid CDL Class A Driver's License and DOT Medical Card
  • Clean Motor Vehicle Record
  • Minimum of 3 years of CDL Class A Driving
  • Minimum of one year of car hauling experience
  • Have a TWIC Card or the ability to obtain one
  • Must pass a controlled substance test in accordance with FMCSA Section 382.301(a) prior to employment and continue to pass alcohol and/or controlled substance tests at random or as a result of reasonable suspicion in accordance with FMCSA Sections 382.303-311

Physical Requirements:

  • Must be able to bend, kneel, twist, squat, stand, and climb as required to secure load
  • Requires standing, stretching, walking, stooping, pushing, and/or pulling in an outdoor environment
  • Requires excellent visual acuity and manual dexterity
  • Requires use of safety and protective equipment
  • Requires frequent driving for long periods of time
