-Full Time -Contract -Average: Pay beginning at $60,000/year

Blackhawk Logistics is hiring local CDL-A dedicated drivers. Drive dedicated with Blackhawk Logistics and enjoy a consistent schedule and pay, onsite management, and regular deliveries.



Drivers home nightly
Flexibility to work overtime and weekends as needed

Driver Requirements:



CDL Class A required; also must have a clean driving record and be able to pass a DOT physical
Bilingual (fluent in Spanish and/or Polish)
Experience Level: 1 Year Trucking Experience
Complete pre-trip/post-trip inspections of truck & cargo
Monitor condition of equipment and report all issues immediately
When needed: Load and unload truck using a forklift or other material handling equipment as needed
Deliver product and proper paperwork to our customers in a courteous and timely manner
Record cargo information, distance traveled, fuel consumption & other information in a logbook/ trip sheet
Receive and relay information to a central dispatcher
Ensure that material is properly protected from the outdoor elements
Ensure that the load is safely and correctly placed, and is secured
Maintain excellent customer relations on all deliveries and pick-ups
Follow all customer-designated safety procedures
Responsible for reporting any accidents, incidents, or equipment damage that occurs- accident or incident reports must be completed by the employee and supervisor immediately when such event occurs
