Dedicated CDL Truck Driver - Intermodal - HazMat

Drivers in this program work with an experienced J.B. Hunt driver trainer for six weeks before transitioning to a full-time driving position upon successful completion.

Job Details:
  • Drivers will be paid $200 per day during the training period. The training period is typically six weeks.
  • Following training, drivers will transition to an activity-based pay plan that encourages safety, efficiency and strong work ethic.
  • $0.43-$0.51 per mile
  • Detention pay per hour: $22 - $27
  • Drop and hook per stop: $32
  • Live load/unload per stop: $60
  • Driver load/unload per load: $45
  • Local loads per load: $45
  • Hazmat per load: $25
  • Refrigerated per load: $30
  • Crosstown per load: $15 - $20
  • Driver assist per load: $15
  • Empty search per hour: $22
  • Mechanical breakdown per hour: $22
  • Rail delay per hour: $22
  • Refused delivery per stop: $32
  • Truck order not used: $20
  • Yard checks per hour: $22
  • Layover: $22 per hour
  • Safety training pay per hour: $22
  • Holiday pay per day: $200
  • Drivers in this position over the last six to twelve months have averaged annualized earnings of $68,000
