Dedicated/Local CDL Truck Driver - Dry Van - HazMat
NO SAP DRIVERS
Hiring Area: Must Live 50-miles of less from 3633 9th St, Salina, KS 67401.
Must Have Hazmat Endorsements.
Type of Trucks: 2020 Kenworth’s & Freightliners. Sleepers & Straight Trucks, Truck Speed: 65 Pedal & cruise Parking: On site at customer location. No pets/passengers.
Driver Pay: Guaranteed Pay $1350 (Annually $70,200) Can Make up to $1700 or more Weekly. Sign On Bonus: of $500 on 2nd paycheck.
Schedule: Varies Mon–Fri so drivers must be flexible. Day Route: 10:00AM, 1:30PM, 3:30Pm & 5:00PM. These are all layover routes so they will be out two nights per week. Will vary on what nights are out overnight. Night Route: Typically leave out at 10PM & return the following morning. We will not have drivers running day routes right after running a night.
Home Time: Driver should expect 2 layovers/week otherwise home daily.
Job Duties: Driver Will Pick up a pre-loaded 53-foot Trailer at the Distribution Center in Salina, KS & run to the Following States NE, KS, MO, CO, OK & IA. Delivering to Automotive Parts stores unloading Freight using an electric pallet jack. Will have returns if needed. The driver will have a route book that will have all the information, alarm code, keys, where to deliver etc. Driver will have 35 stops per week.

MAJOR PREVENTABLE DOT RECORDABLE ACCIDENTS: 0 in the last 1 yr. (U-TURN, RUN UNDER, HIGH SPEED REAR END & LANE CHANGE). 1 in 2 yrs. NO AT FAULT ROLLOVER or JACKKNIFE DOT Accidents in the last 3 yrs. MINOR MOVING VIOLATIONS & PSP: No more than 3 in the last 3 yrs. NON-DOT PREVENTABLE ACCIDENTS: No More than 1 in the Last 1 yr. & 3 in 3 yrs. 1 DWI: 5 yrs. old 2 DWI’s both must be 7 yrs old. PRE-EMPLOYMENT DRUG SCREEN TYPE: both URINE & HAIR FOLLICLE TEST.
Experience Requirements: 1 yr. in the last 2 yrs., 2 yrs IN 3 yrs., 3 yrs. IN 5 yrs., 4 yrs. IN 7 yrs. & 10 yrs. in 14 yrs. of Local, Regional or OTR Pulling Tractor Trailer of at least 45 ft. in length. Cannot count School or riding with a trainer. (MUST BE SOLO EXPERIENCE). CDL JOBS: 3 In The last 12 mos. 8 in the last 3 yrs. UNEMPLOYMENT: No More than 3 mos. In the last 12 mos. & 12 mos. in 3 yrs.
