CDL Truck Driver - Dry Van

What We Have

  • Home time is every 2 weeks (14 days) for drivers east of the Mississippi river and 3 weeks (21 days) for drivers west of the Mississippi river.
  • Primarily travel the Midwest/East of I-35 with occasional loads outside those lanes based on customer needs; will be expected to be able to run all 48 states. 
  • Truckload and multi stop/LTL temperature-controlled loads. 
NYC and 5 boroughs are not forced-dispatched.



What we offer

  • $0.62cpm (includes a $.10cpm per diem)
  • Weekly Guarantee - $1,250
  • Average Miles = 2,087
  • Top 50% Average Mile = 2,697
  • Average Gross – $1,550 
  • Top 50% Average Gross - $1,740
  • We offer Pets (dogs only) and Riders (as young as 6 years old)

Equipment, Orientation

  • Orientation will be in De Pere WI
  • On Mondays & Wednesdays
  •  For 3 days 
  • will be paid $125 per day
  • You will Meet with all departments
  • During Orientation, you will expect ELD and Geotab training, Road test & Functional assessment
  • Lunch provided
  • 2021 – 2024 model Peterbilt 579 Ultralofts
  • We have KW T680s but they are rarely open
  • All trucks have APUs (mostly ThermoKing but also have some Carriers on older units)
  • All trucks have refrigerators
  • All trucks have power inverters
  • Trucks are governed at 70 MPH on the cruise and 70 MPH on the pedal
  • Outward facing cameras ONLY
  • 2021 – 2024 trucks have PACCAR motors
  • < 50 2024 trucks have CUMMINS
Company can give a preference on what they want but ultimately it is based on availability
LOCATIONS:
Some southern states are included, but they are northern half. No Louisiana and only I-10 for Florida
No KY or WV. For NC & SC 100 miles radius of Charlotte, NC Eastern Half of Oklahoma, Dallas area, Eastern half of Iowa.


What We Do Not Want: 
None in the past 3 years;
  • Excessive speed (15mph + )
  • reckless/careless driving
  • leaving the scene
  • hit and run
  • failure to report
  • violation as a result of an accident
  • improper or erratic lane change
  • following too close
  • operating a commercial motor vehicle without a valid CDL or possession of a CDL or without proper class or endorsement
  • texting in violation of state or local law
  • The use of a hand-held mobile telephone while driving
  • speeding in awork/construction zone
