I really like working out of the Savannah terminal. I've worked here for over 5 years. I get along great with the terminal leader. They need to update the trucks, and I have been told they are taking steps in that direction. I make over 70,000. I plan to be here for the rest of my career. They'll have to run me off with a stick. If you want to run and make money. You can surely do that here.

Pros

Great money, good people, your not just a number.

Cons

The equipment needs updated

Great managment. This is why I came to work here. Fortunately the pay has also been excellent so far. The equipment is well maintained but not as heavy duty as other trucks I have pulled tankers with.

Over all a great company to work for, upper management always trustworthy. Pay is great and benefits, great sign in bonus, and Mr Ferrer is great guy to work for as well!

Pros

Great equipment, good mechanics and servicing the equipment, and good looking trucks!

Cons

I would say that insurance is high.

Dillon transpot

I can't speak about the entire company, but can share my experiences with regards to the Tampa and Mulberry terminals and it has not been a positive experience. As an example: When I was hired, the annual pay advertised was $ 50k-70k. Dillon has since removed this from their advertisement/recruiting information due to so many drivers getting angry because of the income expectation, when in realty for the majority the income was in the mid 30k to the low 40k range. There are a number of areas that I site, but I don't want to just trash Dillon. I want to help anyone interested in working for Dillon in my area to go in with realistic expectations. If you have specifics questions about Dillon, I will answer them according to my experiences in these two terminals.
