Real sad that this company is worse then swift. After I quit and I was only there for 5 weeks. I had to hire a lawyer and sue pgt for harassment because they will not stop calling me. 10 phone calls a day for the last 3 months. And I even called pat the owner and told him about the harassment and he said there's nothing he can do about it. So I guess I'll see him in court. Next step is filing a restraining order against pgt.

Worse company I've ever worked at. They steal money out of your paycheck. They harass you as a driver. And everything that they say is a dam lie

The equipment is bottom feeder if you’re a LP driver. Trucker and trailer assigned had various problems starting from week 1. Break down after break down. Truck wasn’t cleaned whenever assigned. The whole corporate is a disaster. They’ll lie to get you there, promising you the stars. Before the deductions they treat you like royalty and after that act as if you’re a burden on them. Terrible way of doing business!

This company has very poor communication skills with their drivers. They made a lot of promises and didn’t hold up to their end of the bargain. Poor home time.

The company safety methods meets DOT requirements.

The pay is horrible.

Run a dedicated account. Home almost everyday. Good paying loads, Brand new 2018 International LT, pretty cool Fleet Mgr. running loads of Sheetrock.

Used to be a great company but changed a lot over the course of a year. Load values plummeted and drivers lost money. Company changed a lot. Drivers were treated like family now your nothing more than a number. Their maintenance program was top notch. They quit fixing just about everything on the truck. Sitting on the side of the road for 17 hours making no money. They fight over paying breakdown pay and the dispatchers lie about everything and they are no longer reprimanded for it. Over my last couple of months their they messed every single paycheck up. Mess with my pay and I’m done

I worked for Pgt last year. They were hauling a lot of pipe out to Texas. They also do a lot of dry wall. They pay percentage based on experience.. I was home every weekend for the most part.. 

On a side note when I got sick with a cancer scare.. I made one phone call to my fm and he immediately routed me back to Monaca. 20 minutes later someone from he was calling me for my information because they were booking me a flight home! How many company's fly you these days? Most throw you on the bus.

Melton vs PGT Please Help

PGT is pretty regional and you'd be home most if not all weekends. Probably run the same loads out of the same mills to the same customers most of the time.
