I love everything about solar transport. They make you family, your not a number with this company. The dispatch works with you when you have a problem, the supervisors are over the top to help you out day or night when you need help. There's not enough words to explain how great this company is. I left a company after 6 years just to get my foot in the door and start a career with solar transport. It was the best decision I have ever made. Your home daily which is a plus with family at home. All the equipment is watch closely and kept up on maintenance to prevent breakdowns. If you wanna get in with a great company that makes you family you need to talk to a recruiter with solar transport!!!

Pros

Solar transport makes you family from the time you start your orientation with the company

Cons

I have no cons at all with solar transport

The equipment is well maintained and is in good shape. The home time is great, I'm home every night. The dispatchers are nice and easy to work with when you have a issues. The supervisors are the greatest, they are always just a phone call away. Making the switch to solar transport was the best decision I've ever made and I'm glad I'm making solar my new family.

Pros

Everyone is great to work with and be around, it makes the work day so much more enjoyable!!

After 7 years working for this company I can tell you are not the number which is very unusual those days. Another great thing about this company you are home every night. Pay it's pretty decent, management very good and equipment ok

Pros

If you had to working person, you are going to be recognized by the company

Cons

Trucks could be better, something like Peterbilts or Kenworths not Freightliners. Another cons: no pay raise between 6 and 10 years.

I have been working at Solar Transport for 4 1/2 years. I would say that this is one of the best companies I have ever worked for in this industry. Management talks to you like your a person and not #. Equipment is top notch, and most of all no forced dispatch. You are Required to work up to 12 hours a day or how ever long it takes you to get done. One thing i have always loved is that if you need something they will get it to you! Most of the markets do not have terminals. When ever I needed something they usually overnight it to me. Solar is a great gas hauling company.

Pros

Management is understanding that things like family emergency’s can happen and don’t make you feel bad when you need time off.

Cons

I only wish that the cost of the health insurance was more affordable.
