Unbelievable support from my dispatcher and safety. It seems my home time is as important to my dispatcher and management as it is for me. Mostly drop and hook.
Pros
Home time, dispatcher, safety, management
Cons
Maintenance, and how some of the shop staff treat the drivers, could be improved

The trucks have so many buzzers on them until it drives you insane. You are a professional but the have alot of censors on the truck to make you drive like a trainee. Trucks are just to annoying. They regulate your pay. Your not gonna make every week a good check. If you are a minority you can feel the racism, they also discriminate. Just a word to the wise if you're a minority stay away. I am a current employee and have worked on and off as a driver. Starting in 1996 and I've never felt safe and appreciated here. And I'm one of the best driver they have and in the world. Just doing what I have to do to pay the next bill. If you're a minority you know what I mean.

Mostly drop and hook is a lie 45% is live customer loads. I might get 1 tyson to tyso a week the rest customer live unload or live load, many hrs sitting in a dock lucky to bring home 800 a week when they do that to you. Home time is ok 12 days out 2 days home so every 6days you get 1 day home. Your told at recruitment it's Mostly drop and hook but don't get your hopes up.
Cons
Dispatchers and trip planners.

I wish I had started with them 20 years ago. This is not a “trucking company “ it is a private fleet for TysonFoods. They haul their own products. The majority of the loads are drop and hook. So, the getting loads and miles are there! I have an amazing dispatcher. If I have an issue, he will get it fixed!
Pros
They take safety very seriously! They mean it, when they say they want all their drivers to get wherever they are going, safe! And, when the upper management says their doors are open, that is exactly what they mean. They really work with there drivers.
Cons
Can’t really think of anything.

Oppressive Dispatchers was promoted because a few guys quit. I took out a 401k loan and HQ HR didn't send out paperwork to pay loan back and tells you to pay taxes regardless of there mistake. At the distribution centers they made a bet about how many people would catch covid and sent them to another facility to spread covid. They terminate the wrong people by putting in the wrong employee number and keep you running with no retirement plan or health insurance. Dispatch will make fun of other drivers when they hang up. If you pay for something for repairs they ignore it for over 2 months eventhough you scanned it in with transflow.
Pros
They're desperate and will hire anyone before you Maybe pass the drug test.
