Dispatchers have control, they determine how many miles you get. I you upset them. Well... just think about it. They also say home on weekends which mean home 34 hours. I left because I was lied to
good company to train with pete, rick, and tom are the best good instructers ,friendly people they make sure you have the tools to suceed
Myself I love it...good company been here 2yrs an home every day an off every major holiday with pay what other company does that...an after I pay bills still have cash to hang out
Lazy nd unsafe not organized. All they care about is money. They love to show favortism. Im going to a different company
Went through training with them and currently work here. You can stay or go home while in training. The accommodations are junk. Pretty much a closet with a bed and a desk. They don't pay for your meals or anything till you pass and go to orientation. Rick is the trainer there and he's pretty cool. He'll help you all he can but be forewarned if you just can't get the hang of it even after him helping as much as he can he will send you home. If you've done any drugs don't waste your time. They do hair follicle and they'll send you home and make sure you don't get a job driving a truck. I'm home Egbert weekend with no orblems. Miles are good haven't had any problems getting loads. Be prepared to haul a lot of Sheetrock. That's our main commodity we haul and also be prepared to deal with these tarps. They're heavy as hell because of the material they're made of and they're big because we sometimes haul tall loads that require tarps. You won't get a new truck till after at least a year of being with them. And by new I mean like 2010 and up trucks. The newest you'll get is 2007 and that's because they're paid for and if you should mess it up then it's not a big deal. Overall they're not bad but if you can go through a school and THEN come here I'd highly recommend it.
Gotta say loving it. Flatbed is awesome I think. Mileage is pretty good average 500 a day. I get home weekends and possible 10 off at the house if the load goes by the house. Love the physical work as well.
