I worked at IMT for three years and over that time I have seen some questionable acts from the owners. They have dispatch under their thumbs, which makes for issues when you’re trying to work with dispatch. Home time is questionable when you’re out on the road. If you put time in 2-3 months before they seem to do everything in their power to keep you away from home. Equipment is well taken care of, but the owner rewards the wrong guys. This company was pretty unprofessional in my eyes and wouldn’t recommend anyone work here. Orientation is drug out and then company doesn’t pay for meals during this time. You’re more than likely going to lose a significant amount of money while in the orientation period and they won’t make up for it. However, if you’re not the main financial provider for your family and want a nice truck this gig may be for you. The family holds on to the 3 good things they do for you and seem to forgot about 100+ bad things they try to cover up. Also, if you get called into the owners office you’re more than likely on voice record. The owner likes getting people in trouble more then helping or seeking out the roots of problems.

My only issue here was the pay. They company itself was great and my dispatcher was one of the best I’ve ever had. The owner isn’t a bad guy like some have made him out to be. Orientation is way too long and not very well organized. You do a lot of work for free it seems like. Orientation pay is only $500 and you won’t leave the yard till Saturday more than likely. They also don’t pay for any of your meals so keep that in mind as well. Pay is only .50cpm which is way to low for 2023. You do get extra pay but it’s not an every day thing to help make up. If they’d raise their pay this would be the best trucking company around hands down but otherwise you have to run 3,500 miles or more a week to make anything and that’s not easy to do in open deck. If all you want is a pretty truck and you’re not the main provider of income of the house then this would be a great place but otherwise I’d recommend somewhere else till they raise their pay. There’s just too many other companies that pay more and at the end of the day that’s what we’re here for. Nice trucks are great but a nice pay check is even better.
Pros
Equipment, management, no camera, great rider policy, good insurance.
Cons
Pay, Very picky on idle time, No paid meals during Orientation, Unorganized Orientation.

If you are a real truck driver and you come here you will be treated as a real truck driver! If you are expecting to be waited on hand and foot you will not! When you sign up you generally sign up for three weeks out and then Hometime if there are complaints in previous reviews for this company I’m sorry but this is a real trucking company with real Trucks who trust their drivers enough to let the drivers have a little bit better governor speed extremely nice trucks really good miles and you’re treated like a human being yes the owner knows your name! When you walk through the door at the other end of the shop he will recognize you and say hello and call you by your name! I had worked for this company previously and due to medical reasons I had to leave almost 2 years later I came back and I’ve been here almost 2 years solid and I have no complaints and I am a 33 year veteran driver who also used to be a company owner with my own trucks! Take home pay over $70,000 this year 75,000 is likely before the end of the year with no doubts
Pros
They treat you like part of the family and give you excellent equipment!
Cons
I cannot really think of any!

Drivers severely underpaid. Add about .15 to .25 cpm Would be the best open deck company around. Hands out. No tarp freight
Pros
Best equipment on the road. Definitely like their iron up in Garner Image is everything and you see it with these ppl….
Cons
Gotta pay for all that iron and it reflects on how poorly the drivers are paid

Owner is a west coast Jessie James want to be. He’s a cry baby when things don’t go his way. Very big head and child like. Dispatch is the worst I’ve ever worked for. Unorganized. No communication between them. The guy who runs the show is gods gift to trucking. Arrogant as can be. Orientation could be done in one day but it’s drug out. Nice equipment, home time is ok. But don’t expect to get home for anything even with a month notice. You will be late or not make it. Don’t let the trucks fool you, they come with a lot of stress. Good luck.
Cons
Most everything besides trucks are cons
