Cons
Load planners could be better Lack of empty trailers in Atlanta

I went to their school and drove for a year. I'm glad I'm glad I came here. They started me out at .47 CPM fresh out of school. KLLM will constantly keep you running and most loads are drop and hook so you rarely waste time at shippers. I average 2500-2800 miles a week. If you're doing your job right they don't micromanage you (unless it's a Tyson load). I get my load and go. I haven't talked to my dispatcher in a week. The equipment is great most company trucks are 2020 and newer. I'm in a 2022 Cascadia. Sometimes you have to pay for lumpers but when you send the macro in you'll get the PO within 30 minutes. Dispatchers are responsive day and night. If your truck breaks down they hop on it and send someone immediately or send you to the nearest shop. For every week out you get two days off up to fourteen days. I stay out for 7-8 weeks and take two weeks off with no problem or call from the company asking when am I coming back. All and all I would say if you want to run and have great home time this is the place. You can use PC whenever you need and they don't have driver facing cameras. Besides the main terminal in Jackson, Ms they have ones right outside Dallas, Atlanta, Chicago, and Los Angeles. I never worry about parking when I'm in these areas. FFE is a sister company of KLLM so you can get the gate code to park in their yards in places like North Jersey and Miami. It's nice here.
