I do have some recommendations on how to do this right though. First, I advise dropping your trailer at the Flying J on I-90, which is at the exit for the US16T truck route leading to Mt Rushmore. There is a very steep grade virtually the entire way to Mt. Rushmore, so unless your load is very light, you'll be glad to drop your trailer...
