I got it for the battery mode actually. I am having an issue with my batteries... It only takes a 10-15 min. before the low voltage comes on. Prev. owner said he replaced 2 batteries not long ago so I'd say I don't have a load tester. Everything else checks out fine and even with the low voltage on she fires without a hitch. Need to call my battery man and have him get me 4 opti' blues. Actually 6 since I'll be adding the propane motor/alternator ASAP. With cooler temps around the corner I'll get ready for adding heat. I found the same micro heaters LifeForce uses on their APU for $170. Over the winter I'll have time and $$ to build the AC portion of my APU which is more in depth and costly.

Well looks like it was a short day... I messed up the receiver's hours on the first run. Well really they messed me up. I usually bring them soybeans and they're open until 4pm, but apparently they only take wheat until 2pm. Well no go... either run the 5 hours to VA and sit for 20 hours or go back home, 70 miles OOR (X 2).
Guess I'm a wuss.
But darn, now I have to leave at midnight to get back on track again... -

I've just started reading your thread. It'll take me a while to catch up with you. But I like what I read, it's very inspiring
I congratulate and admire you for your courage. I would also like to have my own truck and work for myself in this field, have more independence (and more responsibilites). I started driving almost a year and a half ago. For now I am taking my time, getting more driving experience, working for Covenant Transport on Walmart dedicated account (which I consider the only good driving position and worthy working for in that co.). Next year I may leave Cov. and try a step up. In the meantime, will do my research in this trucking business (there's sooooo much to learn!) n will keep reading your thread. Thanks a lot!
PharmPhail Thanks this. -
that I will leave nameless.
