Window tint between Houston and Tampa

If you are gonna be in Tampa, I saw a TT at a tinting place in brandon, right off of HWY 60. It was parked on the side right in front with room. FYI

 

Get the lightest tint or you will attract attention at the coops.

 

If it's just for your doors, do it yourself and save some money. I had my car done by a tint shop but only because it seems every piece of glass is curved. Flat glass is a piece of cake. There are only two rules...
1: leave a bare edge at the top to keep it from peeling where it goes into the weather stripping.
2: make sure you get the film inside the bottom weather stripping for the same reason.

Windex is the perfect lubricant for sliding the film into place.

Don't use anything with a sharp edge (credit card) to smooth the film out.

 

The worst thing that could happen is you'll be out $25. You'll have something to do while not moving, though.
