Anyone else exciting for the bids?

I have an opportunity to snag a 532 mile meet this year. It's gonna be quite the change from my current 365 mile meet run. Only downside is two mountain passes.

 

A typical hourly run will pay around 100k. A long hourly run could pay in the vicinity of 120k-130k. A mileage run will typically pay 150k. A typical team run will pay 140-150k. The top team guys make 175k.

These are just estimates that I have heard, but I'm not at that level yet. And I will never team, no matter how much money is involved. Lol

 

Oh, and that's for parcel. @Russian Rabbit can fill you guys in for freight.

 

It can be good, but it's not for everyone. And every terminal is different.

For some reason the guys in Flint, Michigan, seem to be the angriest I've met at the whole company. Never really got a chance to get into what they were unhappy about.

 

Probably because they live in Flint, Michigan.

 

Must be in the water.

 

I seen them out there slinging chains. Pretty much only guys out there running with chains on was LTL. Everyone else was smart and sleeping.
