People love the drama of this virus. So many people are playing what if this happens in their minds they are imagining the end. What if people worry about getting killed in traffic accident every day. Nobody would ever drive but we don't. We don't even car that 88 people will die today in or 33,000 a year will die. To me it seem crazy they way everyone is reacting. Let's see how it play out.
Corona virus cases will skyrocket in a week.

But, if you scoff at disease, there are like 50 to possibly 100 million people that died in the last 100 years that might find your comments amusing.
33,000 a year is VERY small compared to disease. It doesn't happen often. But when it happens it can potentially wipe out entire towns, cities. It has done so in the past.
It's not thousands of people, it's millions. that's just how it is. It's always been that way. -
That's my point the news media and even the government doesn't react to that also. People just accept it as normal. They claim 640,000 people die of Hart disease every year. Why don't we worry about that ?HopeOverMope Thanks this. -

People make the problem seem and the economy by over reacting. Look toilet paper or the hand sanitizer. The news media shows how the store are running out. People see that,p like they need to get some before it all gone and runs. Now they can't put the stuff on the shelves fast enough. Yes if the factory making the toilet paper had to close because of the virus that would be a problem. It's probably not going to get that bad. Because then the truck might have to stop. We can't really let the truck stop and send drivers home to sit this out. Just keep doing what we normally do and relaxed. If you a little sick it not the end of the word. Just like you may have had a cold or flu last year.

I'm just curious, for all those bashing one side or the other in this discussion. Ever heard the phrase plan for the worst and hope for the best? Pretty much that is what we have to do when it comes to any potential virus like this one. You assume that it is gonna be terrible killing...etc. Prepare, so you and your loved ones are protected, and then hope like heck it turns out to be just a bird flu issue.
