Fyi there us no law against having firearms in commercial vehicles! It has been discussed here before. Oh I am talking stateside, Canada is a different topic.

I gave 7-10 MRE'S in the side box also. We usually have a case or two of water on the truck. Fuel isn't a concern for me as I'm rarely more than 700 miles from home. We can run approx 1,000 miles on a full tank.

Well, if you believe a certain judge in TX - if Obama is re-elected it might come to civil war.

I have a bit of food and some drinks. The amounts vary as to when I eat and drink them and when I can find time to re-stock.
I have a couple small knives, and a very big Sting at home (if I could manage to get there once trouble breaks).
    That's me and my truck.

I don't prepare in any special way.
I just try to have what I need as I need it.

    And face it...
There is only so much room in a 'little' truck.

We are already on a warfooting here in Arkansas, At least several of us. We have been ready for years in a variety of ways too much to list.

As a sign of pending trouble later this year the ammunition came out of deep storage. They are ready to go in the ammo boxes etc. Not much, I wont live long enough to fire em all in that horrible day. In other words there is no point in keeping thousands on hand. Just enough to where you can sling a bag over the shoulder and go. And that is the bag for several days minimum.

If the power failed and not expected to return then there is still light and heat, but would have to wait until the oxygen shipments stop and the associated deaths of those dependant on it before I fire them up. (Open flame and oxygen do not mix)
