Hi im trying to look for companies that train in car hauling i know there is united road and hansen and adkins but i know there is probably more it seems hard to research auto transport companies unlike how it is to find a lot of reefer dry van flatbed and tanker companies the auto transport industry of trucking seems to be different but the reason I haven’t gone to united or hansen and adkins is because i dont want to be otr in a day cab nor do i want to be in a hotel i have seen some with sleepers and thats what i want its just my preference i have 2 years and 8 months of otr tractor trailer experience if any one can help or suggest a few companies that would be helpfull

They all have some sort of training program, some better than other, But I would say Hansen and United road is where you wanna be to learn this industry. They have the equipment and contracts to keep you busy enough to learn the trade, along with decent training. Understand this though you won't learn everything in training and the true training comes when your on your own, work at your own pace and delivery damage free and you won't here a thing from management..

Hansen & Adkins, United road have sleepers, if you get a day cab you get a hotel card, Much better than finding a space in a truck stop. You get a list of approved Hotels and you go there, get a room overnight and a clean shower, breakfast in the morning, if your still there. I find that much more relaxing than sleeping in the truck. Trust me don't worry about a sleeper, that going to be the least of your worries, learn the job, learn how to operate the decks and truck and the rest is easy. Driving is the easy part of car hauling, loading can be the difficult task depending on your equipment set up..
