You say the linkage rod is correct. How can you say that the linkage rod is correct when you don’t have the proper clearance between the throw out bearing and clutch break?
Not being a wise ### but you say you have installed correctly. Something just doesn’t ad up with that statement.

Pictures and video speak for themselves. Get a flashlight and go under there and have someone else move the clutch. Post up a video and we can get you squared away

Recess in flywheel is to small to allow damper hub to set in ... in other words they sold you wrong clutch

If the forks don’t touch the throwout, then linkage is off. Should be against clutch brake, when on floor. Need to release clutch to adjust.

I doubt it, most 15.5 clutches sold these days will fit.

Is why I’m confused as to why he is sure his linkage is good and how he came to that conclusion

Probably because he didn’t adjust linkage at all. If it’s like mine was, way off because the old clutch was so worn, I had it adjusted way out of spec, just so it would work. New clutch, had to start from scratch. First thing is adjust linkage enough to move throwout, then adjust 1/2” gap. Then come back, and adjust linkage to get 1/8” fork gap with pedal up. For proper free play

I agree. Always had to adjust. I only say that my linkage is good when I have proper clearance. Sounds like this guys issue. Hopefully for his sake so he doesn’t have to yank trans again
