They should leave them open and just remove the doors from the hinges so people wouldn't have to touch anything.

They're a breeding ground for bacteria, anyway, since they've removed all the paper towels. The 'clean escape' levers can't be that expensive, but you won't find them anywhere.

Sucks but kinda makes sense as they might only get cleaned a few times a day (if even daily) and hundreds of people can use them in between cleanings. Also wouldn't be the least bit surprised if people started stealing the toilet paper from them the minute they start panic hoarding.
Main reason I put a couple rolls in my truck, and plan to clean any seat before sitting on it.Sirscrapntruckalot Thanks this. -
All the air dryers are horrible. Whatever germs happen to be in the general vicinity get sucked in and deposited on you. They Dyson airblades never dry out, so mold and bacteria multiply.nredfor88, D.Tibbitt, Rubber duck kw and 1 other person Thank this. -
Of course, how often they get changed is an entirely different question. -
Unfortunately, people don't wash their hands properly and it just blows the nastiness all over. The filters aren't changed enough, the dryers aren't cleaned often enough and very rarely do they offer the ability to escape the restroom without touching things.

The truck stop bathrooms are a breeding ground for all kinds of nasty stuff like mersa from the showers and the flu virus. The guy in front of you at the counter? Where has his hands been? Did he just come from the bathroom and wiping his butt without washing his hands?
snowlauncher and D.Tibbitt Thank this. -
I was really thinking this thread would go in a different direction.
If you're moving a non-emergency load, where do officials think you'll take your breaks. I trust this stupid idea won't spread to other states.D.Tibbitt Thanks this.
