I personally think they know something they’re not telling us. 17,000 of the worlds leading scientists are studying this virus 24 / 7. I think they know it’s capable of mutating into something far more deadly. Let’s look at that family from New Jersey that basically they all caught it and all died. Based on the statistics that we are being fed of a 1 to 3% death rate that is statistically and mathematically impossible. Most of the family members were young too. That’s like being struck by lightning five times. It’s just not statistically possible. Something is up with this whole situation that they’re hiding from us the overreaction is unprecedented

At the beginning of March I was very sick. I was shivering like a sick dog. 2 nights with fever and coughing, very bad flu.
I thought it was something else, so I stayed in my truck for 4 days and 3 nights .
To this day , I’m a little bit sick still. I contacted the Corona virus hot line and after I described my symptoms I was told no to worry about it. It is a strong flu that is all.
But , my advice will be to stay close to home. I choose where to go and I drive about 500- 700 miles radius, that is it .

If you are a company driver get to your home terminal/yard, clean out your possessions, leave the keys and go home. Home is where your survival resources should be, and family support too. I said this nearly two weeks ago, but people in the trucking industry tend to be alpha males, to some degree, who know better and can "handle things" as they come up. Under normal conditions, that's true, but the way the world and country are reacting to this, it is unprecedented in my lifetime.

Health is wealth, so is 40 cents a mile really worth it? I was 12 hours away from getting on a plane back to the USA to drive reefer and I bailed on my flight about 3 weeks ago because of how this thing is being ginned up by the media worldwide. Something big is going to come out all this and it's not going to be to the working mans advantage at all.

I know that money is sole determinant for most drivers, but just think how vulnerable you will be to marauders when you are a sitting duck somewhere. The truck is an easy target of opportunity when law and order disappear. Of course, most people cannot accept they have made a really bad decision to stay out and "save the country", they will go down with the ship, as every good captain should.

LOL, oh boy. Here comes the over the top conspiracy forecasts. Remember most that get this disease are going to recover and be just fine. We are just trying to help the system mitigate and soften the curve of infection for those that have serious problems with this disease. Thus they can get the best care possible, a chance to live on.

First thing to do is call your primary care physician. Second thing is, to do exactly what they tell you to do.

Once the fever sets in you’ll most likely become immobilized. Right now I’m a long way from home and have been thinking about this topic all day.
Thinking now to try and get a load back home and stick to the SE region for now. IMO, anything more than a days drive from home will be troublesome.

See I’m thinking a little differently though, and if you have a fever and all that and you catch this virus what are you gonna do walk in your front door and give it to your entire family? Myself if I come down with it I’m gonna pick a location in the country that isn’t completely overrun with the virus yet that has a good hospital and I’m going to drive there. And I’m going to get treated there. I’m not gonna drive to somewhere where it’s overwhelmed with patients. Once I get there I’m going to camp out in isolation on the truck and try my best to get over it. If I become too seriously ill I would just take my ### into the hospital where I picked to stop. I’m not gonna take this home to my family.

I'm going to have to go on permanent disability and need to be retrained for a new job when this over due to virus PTSD.

YOU WEREN'T THERE MAN. YOU DIDN'T EXPERIENCE THE VIRUS MAN.
EVERYONE I APPROACHED COULD HAVE BEEN THE LETHAL ONE MAN.
