What's it like to work at a landscape company driving dump trucks towing equipment? does the driver operate the machinery? I like older trucks and do some companies still use late 90's and early 2000's dump trucks?

    I have no idea.
But I'm pretty sure your doing the manual
Labor with the rest of the crew when you
    Get to the job.
Way more grass cutting, weed eating then driving.

You'll be driving a hand shovel most of the time.

In a nutshell, it's hard, dirty, long hour, back-breaking work. The dump truck part is the LEAST of what you'll do, no matter what the boss tells you. Oh sure, if they need a load of top soil or stone, sure, you'll get away for a spell, but that might be the only load you haul all day. It's why you never see landscape trucks in a hurry. I messed up my back years ago as young man, driving an R model Mack and finger printing semi loads, and as an old man, I'm paying for it today. Just sayin',,,
