Wilson Logistics (Missoula, MT)

I will be heading to Springfield, MO soon to start orientation. Since I haven't found much in the way of resources thus far on the forum I will begin detailing (when possible) my experiences with the company.

 

I can't say much yet as to the orientation class size, but they are getting me a rental car to drive rather than riding the grey dog.

Can I get an admin to take care of that?

 

My start date has pushed back a week due to COVID and too many people already signed up for Springfield, but honestly that isn't a bad thing. I received an email from the state today with an appointment to get my official Texas CDL on Tuesday (having to travel to Corpus Christi for the appointment), which will benefit me in the long run to have the correct state issuing my license.

 

Well after some BS with the state of Texas DMV I'm beginning orientation in the morning. Drove 958 miles today and ready to crash at the hotel.

 

Day 1 of orientation completed. I'm the only company driver onboarding, but there are 3 students and 3 lease operators who are here as well. Due to COVID it's difficult to get a grasp of their normal operations, but the ones I met today were your typical happy with the company types you usually find at yards. Today was mainly doing computer modules and physicals, with more computer hours in store.
