Watched the whole video. That engine, and workmanship is second to none. That old detroit at the end is a screamer. Drove a old 238 detroit in the 70's, sounded a lot like that. My ears would be ringing after a day of that . Should've used cotton or something in my ears. Good stuff none the less.

Little note on that Jake brake rebuild. Yes it comes in cat box but they don’t charge any more for it than jake. Open the cat box up, and it’s in the Jake box. Only like 150 bucks for all 3 Jake rebuilds. Sounds like this guy is trying to swqueeze every penny out of rebuild the cheapest as possible. Obviously a salesman for ipd

I like when he says it's going in a truck strictly for competition . ...yeah right ! If thats the story he is stickin with ! I've watched his vids. He does alright. But takes short cuts on certain items. Ipd parts are ok. There has been alot of talk bout the liners having issues. Could be how they are installed or just not good quality, dont really know.

Curious what your thoughts are on some of those liners with something like less than (I forget the miles but it was really low) with pitting so bad it chewed a hole right threw the liner. How can that happen in such short time? I don't buy a bad install job or improper antifreeze in the short amount of time it took.

Bakerman, Superhauler and magoo68 Thank this.
