My trainers truck will do 70 hehe trust me I know! The truck I'm will do 65 with it to the floor. I've been told while in his truck not to run 70 a lot or it will be governed more. I've looked my logs over and everything is legal. Heck I had a Level 3 in TN and I passed it ect..

I just took my 36 and should be fine. At first when I made this thread I was concerned with my log book for a number of reasons.

    All is well hopefully

It IS legal. Start driving at midnight following a 10 hour break. Stop at 11 AM and take a 10 hour break until 9 PM. Drive through midnight. There's your 13 hours in one calender day.

Who shows 30 minutes for a pre-trip and I never show any on duty time for a post trip...or did I misunderstand something that time???

I've never been questioned about my pre or post trip logging methods either.

Your suppose to show both. When I fueled eitheir at the start or end of the day I"ll show eithier. If I don't fuel I"ll show 15 to 30 minutes for pretrip depending how thorough I want to get and just flag post trip. Since I keep an eye out for burnt out lights, leaks, and such when I make a pit stop I do a quick check at the end of the day.

15 minute pre-trip, flag a post trip at the end of the day, 15 minutes for fuel...if I fuel first thing in the morning its 15 minutes for the fuel and I do the pre-trip while the tanks are filling so it all gets done in 15 minutes.

I can check everything that needs to be checked in 15 minutes.
