Reefer & all now getting hit hard!!!

$5,600 pulling a reefer from Ohio to Oregon? Isn't that like 2,500 miles? So, if the spot market is only designed to get your carrier back to the $5,600 lane, what is the rate to get you back there?

Btw, the spot market is made up of a lot of contract tender rejections during tight capacity, or tenders not offered to contract carriers during abundant capacity, because the shipper can get it done for cheaper on the spot market.

Contract freight does not equal guaranteed freight, which a lot of folks are finding out about now.

 

The funniest thing about it is you run around on this site with your channel 8 thread nose pointed high to the sky boasting about your high dollar loads you get pulling a dry van In&out of Cali....
