Emilko Is the motor still pulling, regenining with this oil consumption ?
If the motor is not busted, could be turbo leaking, last year I got a wrong turbo installed on my truck, was still pulling ok, but losing oil .
Here I still have a photo on my phone, i'm photo turd was leaking from flex pipe down the frame, and on cold side also towards intercooler/air to air. Open the flex pipe clamps, but the hot side won't tell you if comes from motor or turbo, I'm thinking if you open one of the clamps out of turbo cold side, look for oil than you'll know is turbo. I'm guessing you drove on I-15, turbo was working hard, lots of hills to pull.
Don't drive it , this oil ends up in DPF filter, clogging it bad. You'll need a new filter also. I drove mine with blown turbo bearing for 100 miles, bobtail with zero boost and filled up the dpf filter with oil, i had to buy new one on top of turbo bill, was beyond cleaning.
d13 oil leak from back side of the engine

Nextran does provide a detailed quote with all the parts and the shop supplies...hurts like he** but at least you know going in what to expect. Now I'm not happy with how long its taking to get done but as long as it's done right....
