Mine funded today. I’m still at home working on projects around the house for another week or so then to the shop for another week or so. Then see if I can scrounge up some freight around he beginning of next month sometime.

No word on the stimulus check yet. They have never direct deposit a tax return in my account because I always owe. I assume that means I’ll have to wait for a paper check?

Rideandrepair and Scooter Jones Thank this.

Go to this link: Economic Impact Payments | Internal Revenue Service. You have the ability to enter your bank account info if you filed your 2019 tax return and owed money. If you have not filed 2019 yet, you will have the ability to update your bank info for 2018 once the IRS finishes building that part of the portal.

I haven't got mine either. I went to that site and entered my info like it said. After I filled in my name, ss#, and address, the automated system said I do qualify for the stimulus check but that they don't have my bank info.

I have had a direct deposit set up with the IRS for over the last 10 years with the same bank. So it's strange they say they don't have my bank info. So I went to the next page to fill in my account number anyway. It also asks for your AGI from 2019 or 2018, depending on if you've already filed for 2019 which I have, and also the amount you paid or were refunded.

So I filled all that in and it came back and said their records don't match. It said maybe if you filed in 2019 they haven't processed it yet, so go back and enter your tax info for 2018. I went back and did that. The next reply said that they were unable to process my request at this time, please try again in 24 hours.

I don't have any child support, alimony, unpaid taxes, or anything else that would disqualify me.

The IRS is having trouble processing the bank information for direct deposits if you used Turbo Tax, H&R Block, Jackson Hewitt, and several other tax preparation services for 2019. Supposedly these services take control of the direct deposit refund from the IRS. The refund has to go through the service, which I find completely ridiculous, instead of coming directly from the IRS. I am a professional tax preparer and none of my direct deposit clients for 2019 are having a problem getting their stimulus payments direct deposited.

Ah, interesting, good info. I did use TurboTax in 2018 not 2019. But they say maybe they haven't processed 2019, so that could be it.

I know it's completely anecdotal, however, I've been filing my own taxes for years using TurboTax.

Our $2,400 "stimulus" direct deposit was made early this week.

Well so maybe that's no it, or maybe it's just some TurboTax users. I don't know. I don't need the money right away, but I'll be pissed if I don't get it even if it takes 20 weeks for a paper check.

Yes, if you recently filed your 2019 tax return, it can take up to three weeks to officially post on the IRS system so they can access your bank account information.
