What's your plan? Going to stick it out? Look for something else? Ideas?

Help your fellow drivers by throwing out some ideas

I work for a good company, and they have transitioned me to the highway for the most part. Still a little oilfield work here and there.

    It will be.

Right now the battle is being won or lost in China. tankers are piled up off Singapore. Photos that get uploaded on 50+ in view waiting off there gets censored. Its not worth hiring a tanker to move oil now. You will lose money and probably lose again when you learn the value fo that oil has dropped due to no economic demand anywhere.

Our American Midwest power generation is our last Bastion. A maginot line so to speak. Should we have a VERY HOT summer and a burnt spring, then everyone up there cranks the airconditioning and the US Midwest are going to demand oil, coal, and natgas handover fist

I’m on a rig still working 100 hours a week. So for the time being it’s enjoy the money and keep saving.

I pulled out last July when I could no longer do 2k a week hauling crude. Ain’t worth playing in the thunder dome for any less than that.

I wasn't trucking, but I'm out starting Monday. Plan is to head to Texas and stay with family, it'll stink but I figure tough times mean pulling together.

Got a call maybe a month or so ago, big job in the permian, hiring a bunch of drivers right now, this work should last years... I'm thinking I've heard that song before.

I'm sorry for you all and hope you find something that isn't a lie...this time...

Out on the highway, reefers and grocery are pretty thick, maybe try one of those outfits.

Some places have construction going on and lots of dirt hauling.

Print up an official looking letter about how you're essential and go drive around.

Brettj3876 and Western flyer Thank this.
