I'd be bummed about being given a Peterbilt too lol. T800 or Western Star!

 I know these are troubling times, so I'll pretend you didn't say that. I've driven every type of truck made, and a few that aren't made anymore, and for me, a Pete was simply the nicest. Not the best truck, made, that was Mack, but a nicer truck than my Petes, I never drove. The only other truck that came close was a Diamond Reo conv. KW's I drove were too generic.

I was saying that the sad part is that im surrounded by all these trucks that I dont know how to drive...a little shameful on my part. Im in the heart of milk truck country and im out there driving a 10 speed mack, i SHOULD know how to shift these transmissions but i dont. Congrats on ypur retirement!!!! Enjoy it!

You'll be fine. Luckily, trucks can't talk and tell the boss what happened. Don't worry, you won't hurt them unless you put them in a ditch. My 1st trucking job, was a dump truck with a set of sticks. The boss asked in the interview, "know how to drive one of these"? "Oh, sure", I replied, although, I never did. Got it out of the yard, and the experiments began. By the end of the day, I was already sick of it.

The Petes just look so bland to me. Every 359/379/389 gets dressed up exactly the same. Hell I can't tell the 3 models apart most of the time.

I cant either to be honest. My dream truck is a mack superliner. But i will say they are WAY nicer than the 2004 mack visions i drive!! And the milk tanks look so nice and shiny compared to the faded and dinged up reefer trailers i haul!!

It's all in the headlights, apparently.

Yeah the older ones have more distinct headlights. I like the shiny milk tanks....my mack vision would look 100% cooler hauling a milk tank....milk tanks just look so ###### to me, idk why.
