    do the job someone doesnt want to do, where they dont want to do it, when they dont want to do it.

    im unsure how your lack of canadian experience is gonna play insurance wise

    otherwise get your first aid, h2s, clean urine and show up

    @rzl-dzl

    Can you translate the first aid and h2s lingo for me?

    Clean samples for a drug test are not an issue here...

    I’m absolutely willing and able to do what others are not willing to do. Just trying to figure out what that might be, as I’m not dialed in to the work situation there. When I hear number like 100k for 20/10, I’d be astounded why anyone WOULDN’T do that.

    12hrs a day 20 days is 240 hrs, but OT after 10 hrs a day or 50 a week,

    ends up equalling 285 hrs for those 20 days, even at $31hr thats over $100k

    decent driver is gonna start at least that or higher, no exp

    guys balk at it, cuz it used be way better....but then truck rates were too, and lotsa getting paid to wait at disposals

    moneys tight, customers keep an eye on waiting time, trucking companies are looking closer at logbooks

    used to bill 150+hrs a week, now lucky to bill 105, thats ~$2000wk difference

    standard first and and h2s ticket are 2 safety tickets errybody needs to have to work anywhere, theyll take you 3 days in classroom and $500 to get, then good for 3yrs

    theres a bucket of other tickets that some companies want, others dont, some companies make you take their version of this ticket or that ticket, so no point getting them til interview/hire/orientation

    run a combo vac or a tanker and make this $ and have an easy job.

    And some companies will pay up front for any classes you might need for their requirements, some even are set up for on-line training that can be accessed with PIN # after the fees are paid.

    I am planning to buy a truck (F350 or Dodge 350 turbo engine...etc) and trailer and start hotshot trucking probably in British Columbia but I definitely have no idea how to start. All the videos I found on Youtube are only about Americal hotshot truckers. Nothing shows me what should I do in Canada. I wanna know all about the needed driving license, taxes, pay per miles...etc. Thank you in advance
