Ya know... it's not necessary to tell CACTUSJACK he's an arse hole. I think he knows that!

HAHAHAHA IP that's true and it's not much fun sparring with an unarmed 8 year old arse hole anyway, nuff said.

I will give you a hint on where you can start looking... Im in Nevada today and part of tommorow... You're so smart you should be able to find me. You've got a good 24 hours before I move on to another state.
You have Proof of what? I dont have to prove anything... anybody that hangs around here knows Im in a truck...
In fact Im training a guy right now who started out on this board searching for prospective Company's... I didnt recruit him, he had already decided and was ALREADY at Prime when he read that my last trainee quit. He then asked if I would take him on after he finished with his instructor.
I can attest to Ironpony being a driver... besides bumping into each other at the terminal a few weeks ago... we met up at the Pilot in CT quite a few months back.
You are a message board troll... -
All anger issues and tiffs aside, I think my mind has been changed. I was all ready to sign up for W/S and I got questioned by Lt. Leaphorn as to why! Well I couldn't answer him, so did some more research on Prime, as I live in Colorado, and I just feel good knowing I'll have a lot more training, a bit better pay, lower tutition (as I'll probably pay for it myself) and more training (mentioned twice cause it's #1 in my books!) I can't thank U2 and Ironpony enough for the posts. You've really changed my outlook and I'll be calling Prime tomorrow to see if I can get into a class sometime next month.
Question. What's the status for a total newbie like me wanting to get trained and on the road with Prime? they still doing training and hiring?
FYI, I'm not afraid of hard work, long hours or uncomfortable situations, just want good training and a job after.
Lt. Leaphorn, thanks for the eye opener!
This site has once again, proved to be infinately valuble. Thanks to all!! -
Ditto on what Lynchmob said.
And, I might add.....not too smart of that guy threatening people in writing in a public forum. Not too smart at all. -
If that still doesn't convince you, I could post some links, but I believe it's against forum policy to do so. But if anyone is interested, I could share with you my facebook account (search "TruckerMike" on Facebook, it's completely public) where I never make any reference to who I work for, I could send you a link to my real-time GPS tracker where friends and family keep track of where I'm at (in Alabama right now, heading to Atlanta), I could send you a link to the blogs I write (of which I started before I even began CDL school, and never mention who I work for), I could send you the link to where I am a forum moderator on another trucking board (of which I never state who I work for), I could send you a link to a trucking website that I'm helping to build, where we post information on tons of different companies and schools, I could even send you a link to my live streaming dash mounted webcam so you can watch as I drive down the road in real-time. And soon enough, I'll have trucking videos on YouTube under "WigWag Productions" where I'll never state who I work for. Do you think all of that is simply a cover up so I can advance my recruiting efforts?
I've never met U2 or IP, but I've followed them from before I even started at Prime and have no reason to believe they are anything but drivers. I mean come on, U2 has even posted his average mileage and SALARY for all to see. If he was a recruiter, his numbers would have been a little higher, but he provides the truth. Take it or leave it.
None of us have anything to prove to you though. If you don't believe we're actually drivers, than fine. Be the hero and warn everyone that we are trying to scam them in some way.
And what do you mean by the comment "what goes around comes around." Are you insinuating that we are doing something evil? Just what exactly have we done that is so terrible? Providing free, honest, real-world information for people is a bad thing? Youre providing hearsay and misinformation, which is worse?
I know it's hard to understand, but some of us are actually proud of what we do, who we work for, and enjoy what we do. Prime is not for everyone. Trucking is not for everyone. The only thing we can do is provide honest info to people and let them make their own decisions. And I have told people before that trucking / Prime is not for them.
If I ever tell a lie about Prime, I'd expect to be corrected (by a CURRENT Prime driver, not somebody who heard something or somebody who used to work for Prime). And when I see an outright lie about Prime such as "Prime makes you run illegal" or "Prime is dangerous" I feel obligated to step in and say something. Prime is extremely safe and they never expect us to run illegal. That's originally why I stepped in and said something, and your response was that I must be an office employee backing up Prime to the death.
You sir, need to evaluate what you're saying before you type on your keyboard. Or at least do a tiny bit of research before you accuse people of being something they're not. Let the current non-disgruntled Prime drivers give info about Prime. Just because we have positive things to say, does not mean we are recruiters.
Ok, hero? -
TruckerMike,
Could you please send me the links to your blog and webcam. I cant send PM yet, i tried to send on to ya... keep up the great posting very informative -
u2exit, I have been talking with prime.... I'm kinda leaning toward just jumping in and going O/O now..... I've read a post about prime's lease option also. after being with the company for a while now, What do you think? do you like their lease option? The post i read said it wasn't bad as long as you are ready to run. I have no reason to have home time and actually would like being away for a good while. i'm willing to put time in for few years if the payback is there down road.
