Dude, find someone willing to hire you and train you, get your experience and after a year, a clean record, companies will be tripping over themselves to hire you. I started with PAM, team driving, and yeah there was a lot of bad experiences but on the whole it was interesting, I got 1000 a week, I made a great friend, and now a judge has ordered them to pay me a settlement for all the bad stuff I went through. So tough it out, then after a year you can literally go anywhere in the world and do anything.

No apologies needed. I'm not going to insist I'm right. I could very well be wrong. Wouldn't be the first time.

These are NOT easy times for workers. And NOT the time to be picky either. Specifically in largely populated areas.

    Badmon and infox Thank this.

The school is closed, but since you have your CDL call the recruiter. I know a couple of OTR trainers drivers that still have trainees on their trucks.

I did my first year with Schneider. I don't recommend them for an experienced driver (which you technically are). However, for someone who needs a year of experience they aren't bad compared to other companies that hire inexperienced drivers. And they don't make you team drive under the guise of training (it ain't training if the trainer is asleep in the bunk while I am driving).

Thanks for the reply. Not sure if I am getting this right. The trainers still have trainees on their trucks? Do you mean they still have a trainee on their truck for too long because they don't have a new trainee with a license to take that spot in that truck because the school is closed as are most private CDL schools. Just another question while here, how is FFE doing now with the whole virus situation, are you still busy enough to take on new trainees? Thanks again for your response

I am planning to go with schneider because they have really short training. I dont wanna be stuck with trainer for 3-7 weeks.
But problem is in my area schneider doesn't have open position. But am planning to move to KY. They have dedicated flatbed and home daily, which is perfect
