A tip for trucking companies. To solve complaints with HOS conflicts and lack of parking.

    Hire Georgetown DC Residents. *Rimshot.

I don't know wtf it is about Mondays but they never go smooth for me. It's 5:30am and I'm going to be atleast 3hrs behind schedule because yet again, the gd batteries in my truck are ####ing dead. Once I Jumpstart this mf'er I'm never shutting it off. Ever.

Why not replace the batteries if you know they are bad? Seems like a no brainer to me.

Yes. Its springtime all over the place and starting to get hot enough to run the air inside the house at 80 degrees set point. Technician checked the unit's sensors and removed water two days ago. She settled down nicely. Its strong enough to chill to 42 and thats just a little too cold.

Entergy got permission From regulators to increase the cost of coal, gas, oil etc passed to us and boom. Bigger power bills. This was november. Threw me off track just a little bit. But am working on the power consumption. Looking into induction stovetop coils instead of old time resistance heating coil takes too long to boil water. We;ll see how it goes.

I like solving problems. But sometimes it is a problem to do so.

Nope... Snowed on me a few times through the night... Snowed on top Sherman between Cheyenne amd Laramie, snowed on top Elk Mtn., amd snowed for about the first 20 miles in UT... All on I-80. And it wasnt just little flurries. Wipers on full blast, great big huge wet flakes. Not quite sleet but not quite snow either... Almost like hail, but to wet and not that frozen. It was 1 to 2 inches deep on the asphalt on Sherman and Elk... But was melting in UT.

Your truck has 1 or more bad batteries.
Probably has a dead or shorted cell. Best to replace them before they strand you.

PE_T, D.Tibbitt, WesternPlains and 2 others Thank this.

Have not seen Miss Winter. Didn’t even know they had a “Miss Winter” contest. Do you have any pictures?

I recall a house That was a square. The outer of the building was built as a square, some 120 feet by 120 feet. Include garage in one corner. Big basement under the whole thing.

Inside the square is a another square. About around 30 by 30. Open to the weather outside with huge drainage.

    Perfect for grilling etc.

Had a neighbor who were good friends until one of them got bad hurt and I think they had to move to get better medical care for him. But I remember that house. It would be perfect engineering for today.
