buy a newer one, that hopefully only had one owner, well kept. but for me, i tried buying used pick up trucks, and frankly, many were a mess, and the owner still wanted high dollars.

i know how to tell them to go fly a kite.....if you get my drift.

so i usually buy new. (as trucks go) but my cars have been lease cars for the past 5 years now.

I worked as a crew boss for many years at the local auction house. You get the idea really fast just how crappy the majority of the cars and trucks have become. Most are essentially neglected maintaince. People wont spend a dollar on anything until something like cheap brake pads become a destroyed rotor and caliper set.

HOW MUCH!? eff that I'll just buy another car. And dump this one.

    You follow?

Makes me cry at some neglected vehicles. A dollar or thousand would put her rights quick enough.

Our vehicles are really loved on as we say in the south but we learned to stay away from dealer. The last time we talked with them they demanded 120 dollars to examine and diagnose a stuck phone charger inside a freaking cig outlet. I'll fix it myself for that.
