Perhaps police work wasn't her cup of tea. Suicide by truck? Twice the legal limit and anti depressants.
And the power to arrest, maim, kill, seems to be easily handed out these days.Flat Earth Trucker, dunchues, Trucking in Tennessee and 2 others Thank this. -
If cop was .16 and the trucker was .004, the trucker would have been charged with vehicular homicide and no mention of the cops alcohol level. I guarantee it
Flat Earth Trucker, 86scotty, WildTiger1990 and 4 others Thank this. -
Let’s not also forget that this began when the officer was DRIVING THE WRONG WAY on I-10!
The officer’s estate owes CFI a KW,plus the trucker can sue her estate for medical expenses associated with the accident.
This is one of the reasons why the toxicology report was done in TRAVIS COUNTY(Austin) and not HARRIS COUNTY(Houston)-to avoid conflict of interest in the investigation since the officer worked for Houston Police!Last edited: May 24, 2020

A lady New York State trooper was texting and drifted over the center lane causing a head on with a truck killing her.
Dot Cops took the truck apart and wrote the owner a bunch of violations even though he did nothing wrong in the accident.Bud A. and Chubby Fly Thank this. -

2) HOPEFULLY Guy Pearson fully recovers from any injuries or medical mishaps that came about, due to the accident.
3) HOPEFULLY Guy Pearson will be able to continue driving, along with being allowed to continue driving, after healing is done, & all investigations are done.
4) If Guy Pearson is not able to continue driving for one reason or another, along with not being able to obtain another job in another line of work, he is old enough to apply for Social Security retirement benefits, along with being old enough to qualify for Medicare. HOPEFULLY he also has additional retirement income to also draw upon.
God bless every American and their families! God bless the U.S.A.!

The worst part in all of this is that this will be listed as an accident on his driving record when he did absolutely nothing wrong. I have 4 accidents since February of 2018. No injuries to anyone. Little damage. I was not at fault nor ticketed for any of them. Two of them happened over Thanksgiving last year in the same week. Any of you that drove that week know how insane it was, and I was driving from Nashville to Atlanta. I can normally make it in around 3.5 hours. It was taking me over 5 that week. I have ZERO tickets on my record, never had a license revoked or been charged with a DUI, etc. Never failed a drug test. Yet I have had recruiters tell me to "Clean up my record". I asked some bimbo how that would be possible?
Bud A. and Chubby Fly Thank this. -
Up here, officers get fired for needing to get drunk. Reasoning being, if you have to get drunk, you cant be in control when it is work time.
Granted she is dead now. RIPBud A., mjd4277 and Trucking in Tennessee Thank this.
