I’ve noticed this phenomenon more than once. Double quarter pounders taste better in Montgomery, AL than any other place in the USA. Why is that?

I don’t know, I’ve had hockey pucks for QP burgers in Rochester.

Nearly 25 years ago in my teen years, I worked there. They use frozen patties, throw them onto a clamshell grill that cooks though in like 2 minutes. Only difference between the quarter pounders and any other burgers was a mysterious seasoning. Everything else was just clam shelled.

The old mysterious seasoning brewed in the McD chemical, err, I mean food lab. They must have extra helpings of that stuff in AL.

Speaking of McDonalds, I see one across the street.

    Rideandrepair Thanks this.

Ive noticed that burgers taste quite different depending on where in the country you get them... Probably comes down to where the beef were raise and slaughtered.
