What are some red flags or warning signs your company may be trying to get rid of you?

What makes you think they are trying to get rid of you? Most companies want to retain good productive drivers. Usually it is drivers wanting to get rid of their current company!

Every company I've worked for isn't shy about getting rid of drivers if there is an issue. Usually right after the wreck. Or several warnings and write-ups for missing deliveries. Or whatever.

Being not in the office all day means even if they don't like you personally, it's not like they have to deal with you 8 hours a day. As long as you are making the company money they tend to not want to go through the trouble and expense of replacing you.

Kind of a backward question. You should tell us why you think they are trying to get rid of you, we'll go from there.

Delivered a load on Saturday and sat waiting for another load until Wednesday. Granted, it was memorial's day on Monday, but still.. I imagine I should've gotten something the next day since businesses were open. only been with the company for a few months and as far as i know it has been unheard of to wait nearly 5 days for a load. Makes me uneasy

    1) they move the building to a new location, the ENTIRE building

    2) they shut off your fuel card

    3) they are late in your pay checks

    4) they continually omit things form your paycheck

    5) they hire a driver and YOU get to show him around town, then your are told to let him do all the driving, deliveries while you SIT in the truck

    6) your truck "had to go into the shop" and all they have is a 1917 bulldog, with no heat, no a/c, no power steering, no windows, and solid rubber tires.

    7) all the customers are shut down, and you are told to stay home

    8) everyone was told to get to work 45 minutes early,. but you were never told

    9) they have a company cook out, while you are out

and finally the 10th warning sign they are trying to get rid of you..??

    10) they run your under wear up the flag pole...!!!!!!!!
