Yeah, we are required to show proof of residence and ID and get a background check to buy a gun, show id to purchase alcohol or cigarettes, show multiple forms of ID to open a bank account, yet we are supposed to believe that there are people without any ID at all and incapable of getting one who are attempting to vote legitimately.

Being a person-of-color myself, I ultimately do what I can to stay out of most fights and dodge the politics. With the way these riots seem to spread to other cities, all I can say is that I'll be sticking to the back-roads and other quiet routes into any particular city I got to roll through. Picked a bad time to get into regional, but the local running has slowed down considerably and while I've been distancing myself and staying away from substantial crowds, I still got to get my 3-4 days in a week to stay out of the red.
Viruses mutating out of nowhere, mass civil unrest, it's just 1918-1922 all over again when you think about it.Dino soar, Upinsmoke, Sirscrapntruckalot and 11 others Thank this. -
Well, sure enough it’s spreading to other cities. Riots in Minneapolis, Louisville, Protests in Phoenix, Denver and Columbus Ohio. Columbus Ohio? What’s their problem? What’s next? Cedar Rapids? Strange times.

What would you think if at the same time the voter id law was passed the state cut funding or closed dmvs in predominantly black neighborhoods? Look at Wisconsin if you don't think that happened.
What if voting districts were then dramatically changed in a clear atrempt to "crack and pack "?
Then a few years later an attempt is made to purge voter rolls.
Voter id laws may not intend to be racist, but coupled with other actions and the long history we have with black disenfranchisement, it's easy to feel voter id laws have a nefarious intent.
The voter id law is supppsed to prevent voter fraud, yet no one has been able to show that substantial voter fraud exisits in Wisconsin and the voter id law as written would not do anything to reduce what fraud does exisit.Upinsmoke, Sirscrapntruckalot, bryan21384 and 3 others Thank this. -

They purge the voter rolls to remove those that have died or moved. Race is not involved.
Gerrymandering is a national problem. But again this is done for political not racial reasons.
Why was the DMV closed? You need a new ID every five years. Due to the longer travel to get to a DMV are people not renewing their drivers license? Unlikely.
A quick Google search of Wisconsin voter fraud shows there is a problem in Wisconsin just like many other places.
Again look at those officials screaming racism and ask why are they manipulating the black community.
Back to main topic.
Mr. Floyd was by everything I've seen so far unjustly killed by a cop.
Outrage is understandable.
Anger and protests is understandable.
But victimizing innocent people is not understandable.
Make no mistake burning, rioting and looting is not righteous indignation it viciously victimizing innocent members of their own community.
If you have a bad day and go home and beat your wife should everyone say "Well what was the reason he beats his wife? " No we say throw his butt in jail.
I care about the victims more than I care about the feelings of the abuser.
The bad cops should go to jail right alongside the rioters and looters.
