I have found out carrier were leased to also controlled a brokerage firm , is there anyway to get records of what they paid themselves on loads before i got my 75% cut?

I don’t know personally, but I do believe many Carriers will take a cut of the load through their Brokerage, before giving you,( themselves) the load.

Carrier books load with broker A then has in-house brokerage broker the load back to Carrier then carrier books load with an owner op.

I still dont understand why it matters what a broker gets out of a load.

double brokering is illegal, but not enforced.
having a load go through:
broker - carrier - in house broker - carrier - owner op
makes a little hard to swallow when you rely on the carrier to be upfront with you. It’s just another way for them to make more money off the owner up while pretending things are on the up and up.JoBeckman Thanks this. -
