Firestone’s on my steer, are great. I’d like to get them for the Drives. Bridgestone technology, better price.

Some of the Goodyear Eagles and Dunlop tires are made for Goodyear by Sumitomo Tire.

In mud, gravel, and #### you have higher chances to wreck a tire than OTR, and a lot of rock and gravel will eat tires alive it seems.

The Petro In Dodgecity Al. had some Drives for $300 each. Can’t remember the exact name. I’m sure they were Chinese. They said they sell a lot of them, with good results. Might be worth a call, if you get that way.

you must not no the make up of a tires. sipes, channels, rock extractors, etc. we all know standing water causes a tire to lose traction. theres more to the make up of any tire besides the looks

Thanks for all the comments. I should have titled this “what’s a good low cost tire” I’m really caught because I hate to spend the money right now but would hate putting junk tires on my truck. I would never run Chinese steers though. I have some road warriors on my tanker trailer and they seem fine.

I would just rather spend a little extra money for a quality steer. No biggie if a drive blows out or a trailer tire. But a steer blowout could be a problem.

But who’s to say a Chinese tire is more likely to blow out.
