Thanks for sharing that. Many of us are aware of that article. People are taking time off right now to get their medical stuff done cause nobody knows if we will have health insurance next month. The other big rumor working its way through the mill is that they are going to merge all of us. HENRY Logistics (which is an acronym based off of Holland, New Penn, and Reddaway) is supposed to materialize at some point. They are even thinking of shutting down the YRC barn in our area and bringing those guys into our barn. Which means that their 12 drivers probably have more seniority than the bottom 12 of our guys, and thus someone like me would be out of a job.

It's one of those weird situations where my barn is completely slammed with freight, but our parent company is on life support because they are financially incompetent. Hopefully someone better will buy us out. All the regionals are still profitable.

Only problem I see is that you wrote “truck still leaking”.

Now, that would be a non-issue for a competent mechanic who doesn’t look for every excuse to get out of work, but for the ones it sounds like you have, they’ll decline to change a blown steer tire because you spelled it “tyre”.

What would cause a truck to start telling engine warning buzzers at you and shut off the throttle?
Had it happen to me. After like a minute it'd stop, then a minute later it'd start back up

Yeah no reply in your post thought you were ranting. I didn’t read the post above and there was a ad between your post and above I was lazy also. Lol.

Gonna side with @LoneCowboy with this one and even narrow it down to the coolant. Your engine is overheating or a sensor is telling it that thinks it is.

I've dealt with this over ten times in the past few years your symptoms always described the same final diagnosis. Low or leaking coolant, or a bad sensor that is telling the truck to shut itself off.
