    Perhaps so.
I would like us to be given free hand to decide what to do with that loan too. Oh man...would it not be nice to park it and have it as safety net while going to a dealer - even with your own money - and downpay for a new truck or trailer?
The point is to stay on the safe side instead of using your own logic, own interpretation. I am not a loan officer/auditor wanting to go into debate. I, merely, envision what a loan officer/auditor might question in a possible confrontation. If you feel strong about your justification then good for you. You do what you want with it.
However, if I were hired as a loan officer, I'd be hard to convince that scope of using the loan is limitless.

That’s a good point, exactly why they extended the ppp from 8 to 24 weeks to use.

On the question "gross revenue sales prior to the disaster" and then the next question "cost of goods sold for the previous 12 months.....

I don't think I understood what to put there. SBA says I put the wrong information or something.

I wouldn't haul that cheap. I guess there are always people who will cut rates.

I agree. People cutting rates so low ruin it for everyone else. But you won't change that mindset.

Bummer. From what I remember, the application line reads "Cost of Goods Sold". Unless you sold fuel, maintenance and insurance, zero would go on that line.
